We understand that school updates can contain sensitive information about children and families. Clanexa is built to keep that information private, protected, and used only to provide the service.

Private Family Access

Clanexa uses authenticated accounts and family-level access controls so your uploaded school documents, summaries, updates, and reminders stay within your family account.

No Data Sales

We do not sell family information, student schedules, or school documents to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

Protected Processing

Documents are processed through Clanexa’s backend and a controlled Google Cloud AI gateway. AI provider credentials are kept out of the mobile app.

Private Document Storage

Uploaded school documents are stored privately and protected by access rules designed to keep each family’s information separate.

How Clanexa protects your information

Encrypted connections: Clanexa uses HTTPS for app, website, and backend communication.
Authenticated access: Supabase Auth and row-level access controls help ensure families can access only their own Clanexa data.
Private storage: School documents are stored in private storage and are not publicly listed or exposed.
Secrets stay server-side: Provider keys, signing secrets, and cloud credentials are not embedded in the mobile app.

AI processing with safeguards

Clanexa processes school documents through its backend and a Cloud Run AI gateway before using Google Cloud Vertex AI. This keeps AI access controlled by Clanexa’s server-side systems rather than exposing provider access directly in the app.

Managed cloud identity: Production AI access uses Google Cloud managed identity where appropriate, instead of placing cloud credentials in the app.
Signed gateway requests: Gateway requests are authenticated and checked to reduce the risk of tampering or replay.
Limited diagnostics: Operational logs are designed to avoid prompts, document contents, tokens, and family details.

Monitoring without unnecessary exposure

Clanexa uses privacy-conscious error monitoring to find and fix reliability issues. Monitoring is configured to scrub sensitive information and avoid collecting school document content, prompts, authentication tokens, or family details.

Parent control

Parents can contact Clanexa to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information, subject to applicable requirements and available product processes.
